Bringing a new puppy home is one of life's most special and exciting experiences. It is a big time of adjustment for everyone and receiving professional support throughout the process can greatly reduce stress and enhance the enjoyment of having a new family member.
Wild Spirit puppy training packages have been created to give you peace of mind through knowing that you are giving your puppy all they need during the essential time where new bonds are being established and core memories are being created.
In-home puppy training for is for puppies of any breed from 8 weeks of age. These sessions are tailored to suit your unique situation and will support you with the basics such as feeding, sleeping, exercise and socialisation as well as:

Throughout my experience training assistance dogs I supported many foster families in raising puppies from as young as 8 weeks old. As the supervisor and behaviour management consultant for the Foster Puppy Program I gained a lot of knowledge and experience in teaching families to guide their puppy in becoming a balanced and happy dog. I also gained a lot of insight into the developmental milestones of puppies and how to best support their mental and emotional growth.

Puppy Socialisation
The essential window for socialisation is before 20 weeks of age because when your puppy is very young their core imprint of the world is being created. If socialisation is done properly at this age your puppy is much less likely to develop anxiety and fear related behaviour issues. I have a thorough socialisation program that has been used to successfully raise many companion and assistance dogs. The program is focused on nurturing a calm, adaptable and confident temperament.
My socialisation program is included in all of my Puppy Training Packages and can also be purchased as a stand alone package.
Puppy Obedience Training
Obedience Training Obedience training offers your puppy an opportunity to build self-confidence and experience a sense of purpose and fulfilment through learning and achievement. Practicing obedience training with your puppy can be very fun and rewarding and it helps to build trust and form a bond based on respect. It also serves as a vehicle for you to practice setting boundaries and establish positive communication patterns. I use obedience training sessions to teach clients how to implement compassionate, assertive leadership with their puppy which is effective in resolving many behaviour issues. Obedience training is included in my Complete New Puppy Training Package.
